What we can do for a sustainable future

Circular economy attracting global attention

In recent years, natural disasters such as river floods, droughts, and forest fires have been occurring frequently around the world. One of the reasons for this is the increase in greenhouse gas emissions. Greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide (CO2) trap the heat emitted from the sun and warm the earth's surface. When present in large quantities, they cause causing global warming and pose a significant risk to all life on the planet.

Hence, greenhouse gas emissions must be reduced in order to prevent global warming. However, it is practically impossible to reduce them to zero.

"Carbon neutrality" has attracted significant attention as a potential solution. It recommends offsetting the amount of carbon dioxide emissions by using renewable energy, etc. to achieve net-zero emissions.

Corporate initiatives are essential to achieving a sustainable future and carbon neutrality.

Another solution in this context is a circular economy.
This is not a conventional economic system symbolized by mass production, mass consumption, and mass disposal, but an economic system that recycles resources without producing waste by reusing previously discarded goods as new resources. The realization of a circular economy will not only enable carbon neutrality and reduce environmental impact, but also generate economic benefits that create new value.

Keiaisha has been engaged in the business of contributing to the realization of such a recycling-oriented economy for more than 80 years.

Our desire to protect the global environment.

Our business, which consists of the two pillars of resource recycling and manufacturing, is based on our desire to protect the global environment.
To this end, we have been improving our technological capabilities through repeated trial and error, building equipment systems in Japan and overseas, and actively promoting the 3 Rs (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle).

For example, in our resource recycling process, usable parts from recovered metals and end-of-life vehicles are reused as recycled parts, and the remaining aluminum and scrap are recycled and reclaimed as raw materials.

Manufacturing from such recycled raw materials requires less energy than manufacturing from scratch and reduces CO2 emissions.
In other words, through our activities, products, and services, we contribute to the realization of carbon neutrality and help combat global warming.

Meanwhile, in the manufacture of automotive parts, we are working to reduce CO2 emissions and practicing eco-friendly manufacturing. We are trying to reduce our environmental impact and save energy by making effective use of raw materials and energy, and we are considering switching to renewable energy sources in the future.

These efforts of ours may be small in the eyes of the world.
However, we believe that through the accumulation of these efforts, we can become a major force and help protect the global environment. We will continue to make steady progress to realize a sustainable future.
